Hi! My name is Natalie Violet Viegas, and I am from Vancouver, Canada. I am an undergraduate student studying Microbiology & Immunology at the University of British Columbia. 

Alongside my studies, I am a passionate debater and public speaker, having competed provincially, nationally, and internationally since high school. My extensive experience in debate and public speaking has opened my eyes to the power of communication and the value of words. 

My poetry has been featured in a youth literature magazine, and I published my debut children's book, The Land of Seasons, in the Spring of 2025.

Through my blog, Violet's Verses, I share my creative words - my original poems. I hope my verses spark some imagination. Enjoy!
